Also in the fields of offshore and wind energy there are rising market shares for structured thermoplastic composites parts. International experts are convinced that the increased use of thermoplastic composites has a great potential in achieving the ambitious weight specifications in combination with an improved manufacturing technology. Modern planes have successfully proved that these materials fulfill the highest standards of reliability and safety. Nevertheless, there is no expert forum on structural thermoplastic composites at present.
ITHEC focuses on materials, processes as well as manufacturing technologies. Expected 350 international participants will present and discuss new scientific results, meet leading international specialists, share their expertise and start business co-operations in the field of thermoplastic composite technologies.
